Services automatically scans the services running on a remote device — a NAS admin page, a media server, a printer — and lists them with their port, protocol and address. If something changes on the device, a rescan picks it up. You don't need to remember IPs and ports, or set up forwarding yourself: find the service in the list and open it directly. Each service can be given a name and tagged by type — HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, VNC, RDP — to make it easier to identify and group. The connection runs through HomiPlay's encrypted tunnel, so the service never has to be exposed to the public internet.

Home Center is a device at home with HomiPlay installed that you designate as the gateway into your home network. Protect by Home Center is the option you turn on from another device to send its connection through that Home Center. Together they make it as if you were at home: you can reach LAN devices that cannot install HomiPlay — a NAS, a printer, a game console — and browse the internet through your home network.

During the daily session, all Free Plan limits are temporarily lifted, including: • The P2P transfer speed limit • The File Transfer speed limit • The Remote Desktop quality limit • The concurrent session limit for Remote Desktop and Terminal

The daily allowance resets every day at 00:00 UTC. If you start using it less than 60 minutes before UTC midnight, the allowance resets at UTC midnight, and unused time does not carry over to the next day.

No. The daily 60 minutes is shared across all devices under the same account. Once one device starts using it, the account is considered to have used its allowance for that day.

Remote Desktop, File Transfer and Terminal keep working, but return to the Free Plan limits: P2P and File Transfer are capped at 5 Mbps, Remote Desktop supports Smooth quality only, and Remote Desktop and Terminal are each limited to one concurrent session. You can wait for the next day's reset, or upgrade to Pro to remove these limits.

Pro is not subject to the fixed 5 Mbps limit, but actual speed still depends on device performance, network conditions, connection path and Relay settings.

No. The 5 Mbps limit applies per peer forwarding queue, rather than to a single account-wide bandwidth pool shared by all devices.

You don't need to activate it manually. Once you register and sign in to HomiPlay, the 7-day free Pro trial is enabled for you automatically. You can check the days remaining and the expiry date on the Account & Plan page. Each account can use it once.

No. No credit card is required during the trial, and your account automatically returns to the Free Plan after 7 days.

Your account automatically returns to the Free Plan, and your existing device and connection settings are preserved. You then go back to the Free Plan's daily 60-minute session and 5 Mbps P2P limit.

HomiPlay Pro is purchased through an in-app subscription in the HomiPlay app. After signing in, open the Account & Plan page and choose the monthly (US$9.9/mo) or yearly (US$99/yr) plan; this is the same on mobile and desktop. Subscriptions made via the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and renewed according to each platform's mechanisms.
